Removal [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  5. REMOVE TOOL BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  6. REMOVE INNER LOWER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29

  7. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/o Advanced Drive) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  8. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ Advanced Drive) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the front luggage compartment trim cover (w/o Advanced Drive).

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  10. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/o Advanced Drive) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  11. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ Advanced Drive) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the rear luggage compartment trim cover (w/o Advanced Drive).

  12. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  13. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Push the lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the rope hook.

      Remove in this Direction
      Push
    2. Remove the grommet.

      Remove in this Direction
      Clip
      Grommet
    3. Using a clip remover, detach the 2 clips and remove the luggage compartment trim cover assembly LH.
    4. w/ Net:

      HINT: 

      Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook is necessary.

      1. Remove the spring nut and the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.
  15. REMOVE LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

      Bolt
      Nut
      Connector
    2. Remove the nut and 3 bolts.
    3. Detach the guide and remove the luggage closer motor assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:
      • While holding the luggage closer motor assembly, remove it.
      • Do not drop the luggage closer motor assembly.
