Removal [11/2021 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [11/2021 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

    WARNING:

    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  10. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD INSERT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  14. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  15. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR PAD PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  16. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  17. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the bolt and nut.

      *A for Type A *B for Type B
      Bolt Nut
      Connector - -
    2. Detach the guide.
    3. Disconnect the 6 connectors and remove the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket.
  18. REMOVE NO. 3 TELEPHONE BRACKET 
    1. Remove the screw and No. 3 telephone bracket.

  19. REMOVE NO. 4 TELEPHONE BRACKET 
    1. Remove the screw and No. 4 telephone bracket.
