Steering Pad Switch Circuit [10/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

1. Remove the steering pad switch assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]

2. Inspect the steering pad switch assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [10/2017 - 10/2023]

   Result

REPLACE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]

1. Remove the spiral cable sub-assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]

2. Inspect the spiral cable sub-assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [10/2017 - ]

REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]

1. Disconnect the G34*1 or G161*2 combination meter assembly connector.
   1. *1: w/o Advanced Drive
   2. *2: w/ Advanced Drive
2. Disconnect the G27 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
