Engine Oil Level Sensor Circuit [10/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

1. Remove the engine oil level sensor.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023]

2. Inspect the engine oil level sensor.

   Refer to INSPECTION [10/2017 - 10/2023]

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023] 

Result: 

OK

3. *3: for 2WD
4. *4: for AWD

1. Disconnect the G34*1 or G162*2 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the D24*3 or D25*4 engine oil level sensor assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance (for 2WD without Advanced Drive)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G34-15 (OILW) - D24-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G34-15 (OILW) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Standard Resistance (for AWD without Advanced Drive)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G34-15 (OILW) - D25-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G34-15 (OILW) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Standard Resistance (w/ Advanced Drive)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G162-10 (OILW) - D25-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G162-10 (OILW) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result
