DTC P0033-12: Turbocharger / Supercharger Bypass Valve "A" Control Circuit Short to Battery; DTC P00C0-12: Turbocharger/Supercharger Bypass Valve "B" Control Circuit Short to Battery [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Inspect the air by-pass valve assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2017 - ]

REPLACE AIR BY-PASS VALVE ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]

OK

1. Disconnect the air by-pass valve assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D36-2 (ABV) or D1-30 (ABV) - Other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D38-2 (ABV2) or D1-29 (ABV2) - Other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs 

5. Turn the engine switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.

2. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Utility / All Readiness.

3. Input the DTC: P0033-12 or P00C0-12.
4. Check the DTC judgment result.
