Removal [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE VANITY MIRROR ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Sliding Roof:
      1. Push the vanity mirror assembly towards the outside of the vehicle.

        HINT: 

        Maintain the position pushed out towards the outside of the vehicle.

        Push Direction
      2. Insert moulding remover D as shown in the illustration and detach the claw towards the bottom of the vehicle.

        HINT: 

        Align moulding remover D with the vanity mirror assembly and insert it so that it is perpendicular to the mirror.

        *a Claw

      3. Detach the claw.

        Remove in this Direction
      4. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the vanity mirror assembly.

        Remove in this Direction
    2. for Panoramic Moon Roof:
      1. Push the vanity mirror assembly towards the outside of the vehicle.

        HINT: 

        Maintain the position pushed out towards the outside of the vehicle.

        Push Direction
      2. Insert moulding remover D as shown in the illustration and detach the claw towards the bottom of the vehicle.

        HINT: 

        Align moulding remover D with the vanity mirror assembly and insert it so that it is perpendicular to the mirror.

      3. Detach the claw.

        Remove in this Direction
      4. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the vanity mirror assembly.

    3. Disconnect the connector.
