Engine Oil Level Sensor Circuit [12/2017 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Remove the engine oil level sensor.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]

2. Inspect the engine oil level sensor.

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2017 - ]

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - ] 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the G34 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the D24*1 or D25*2 engine oil level sensor connector.
   1. *1: for 2WD
   2. *2: for AWD
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   FOR 2WD:
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G34-15 (OILW) - D24-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G34-15 (OILW) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   FOR AWD:

   G34-15 (OILW) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result
