DTC B2439-00: Headlight Source LH Malfunction; DTC B243A-00: Headlight RH Circuit [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result:

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Turn ignition switch to ON.
    2. Operate the light control switch to turn on the low beam headlights and wait 10 seconds or more.

      Procedure1

    3. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      B2439-00 is not output A
      B2439-00 is output B

      Post-procedure1

    4. None

    Result:

  3. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control (Sub) > Clear DTCs

  4. CHECK FOR DTC 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Turn ignition switch to ON.
    2. Operate the light control switch to turn on the low beam headlights and wait 10 seconds or more.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control (Sub) > Trouble Codes

  5. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly RH with LH and connect the connectors.

      HINT: 

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [10/2020 - ]

  6. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control (Sub) > Clear DTCs

  8. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

      HINT: 

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [10/2020 - ]
