DTC B15CB-11: Telephone Main Antenna Circuit Short to Ground; DTC B15CB-13: Telephone Main Antenna Circuit Open [10/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds or more.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2020 - 11/2021]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2021 - 10/2022]

1. Remove the telephone and GPS antenna (for Roof Side).

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   4 - 4a	Always	4 to 11 kΩ

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA (for Roof Side). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]

OK

1. Disconnect the antenna connector from the telephone and GPS antenna (for Roof Side).

2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the wire harness.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   A-4 - G153-1 (ANT1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-4a - G153-[1a]	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-4 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY [FLOOR]). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]

1. Disconnect the antenna connector from the antenna cord sub-assembly (floor).

2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the DCM (telematics transceiver).
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   G153-1 (ANT1) - G175-1 (ANT1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G153-[1a] - G175-[1a]	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G153-1 (ANT1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the telephone and GPS antenna (for Roof Side) with a known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

END (TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA [for Roof Side] IS DEFECTIVE)

1. Replace the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   NOTE:

   • The engine switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
