DTC B1536: Short in Telephone SUB Antenna Circuit; DTC B1537: Open in Telephone SUB Antenna Circuit [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Perform "HEALTH CHECK" and check for current DTCs.

   Refer to HEALTH CHECK [12/2017 - 10/2020]

   DTC B1536 and B1537 are not output	B

1. Remove the telephone and GPS antenna (for Front Side).

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]

2. Inspect the telephone and GPS antenna (for Front Side).

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2017 - 10/2020]

   Result

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA (for Front Side). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]

1. Disconnect the antenna connector from the telephone and GPS antenna (for Front Side).

   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to DCM [Telematics Transceiver])

2. Disconnect the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A-4 - B-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-4a - B-1a	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-4 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A-4a - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY [I/P]). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020] 

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the telephone and GPS antenna (for front side) with a known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

1. Replace the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).

   NOTE:

   • The engine switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
