DTC B15A5-96: Rear Seat Entertainment System Component Internal Failure [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 

    Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

    Result

    Proceed to
    NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Turn the ignition switch off and back to ON.

      Procedure1

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC B15A5-96 is not output A
      DTC B15A5-96 is output B

      Post-procedure1

    3. None

    Result: 

    A 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 10/2023]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2023 - ]

  3. CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the television display assembly LH connectors.
    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT

  4. CHECK FOR DTC 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Turn the ignition switch off and back to ON.

      Procedure1

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

      DTC B15A5-96 is not output A
      DTC B15A5-96 is output B

      Post-procedure1

    3. None

    Result:

    REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]

  5. CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the television display assembly RH connectors.
    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs
