Removal [10/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - 10/2023]

    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [10/2020 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

    WARNING:

    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022]

  5. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  6. REMOVE CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  7. REMOVE REAR CENTER NO. 2 SEAT ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  8. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  9. REMOVE REAR CENTER NO. 2 SEAT ARMREST PANEL (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  10. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  11. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  12. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 
    1. Detach the hook and remove the rear center seat armrest cover sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE USB CHARGER SOCKET (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) 
    1. Detach the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Detach the claw and remove the USB charger socket.

  14. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  15. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  16. REMOVE REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022]

  17. REMOVE CENTER ARMREST LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)

    Remove in this Direction
    Screw
    1. Remove the 4 screws and center armrest lock sub-assembly.
  18. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) 
    1. Remove the 2 console compartment door hinge shafts.

    2. Slide the rear center seat armrest door sub-assembly in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration and detach the hinge.

    3. Remove the rear center seat armrest door sub-assembly in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration.
  19. REMOVE REAR CENTER NO. 2 SEAT ARMREST BOX (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) 
    1. Apply protective tape to the rear center No. 2 seat armrest box to prevent damage.

      Incline in this Direction
      Remove in this Direction
      Protective tape
    2. Insert a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape and push the HDMI cable cover toward the front of the vehicle.
    3. Detach the claw and disconnect wire harness from the HDMI cable cover.

    4. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    5. Remove the 6 screws.

    6. Tilt the rear center No. 2 seat armrest box in the direction indicated by the arrow as shown in the illustration.

    7. Remove the rear center No. 2 seat armrest box as shown in the illustration.

  20. REMOVE HEADPHONE TERMINAL (for RH Side, w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the headphone terminal as shown in the illustration.

  21. REMOVE HEADPHONE TERMINAL (for LH Side, w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the headphone terminal as shown in the illustration.
