  1. CHECK VEHICLE TYPE 
    1. Check the vehicle type.

    1. Disconnect the meter mirror sub-assembly connector.

  7. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY MAIN WIRE) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the G34 combination meter assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G34-8 (TX+) - G34-7 (TX-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω
      G34-8 (TX+) - G112-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G34-7 (TX-) - G112-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G34-8 (TX+) - G112-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher
      G34-7 (TX-) - G112-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the G186 radio receiver assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G186-11 (CNH1) - G186-12 (CNL1) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω
      G186-11 (CNH1) - G112-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G186-12 (CNL1) - G112-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G186-11 (CNH1) - G112-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

    2. Disconnect the G34 combination meter assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G34-8 (TX+) - G34-7 (TX-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω

    2. Disconnect the G88 meter mirror sub-assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G88-14 (TX+) - G88-15 (TX-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
