DTC B1ACA-71: Front Right Speaker Cable Actuator Stuck [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK PROBLEM SYMPTOM 
    1. Confirm the problem symptoms and proceed to the respective link.

      No sound is output from the front No. 1 speaker assembly RH A
      No sound is output from the front No. 2 speaker assembly RH B

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the L52 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the H1 front No. 1 speaker assembly RH connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L52-5 (WFR+) - H1-2 (+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L52-20 (WFR-) - H1-1 (-) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    4. None

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to INSPECTION [12/2017 - ]

    REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]

  4. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

  5. SPEAKER LINE ELECTRICITY CHECK 
    1. In accordance with the display of the GTS, perform a speaker line electricity check.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Utility

  6. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs and proceed to the following step.

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the L52 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G69 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.
    3. Disconnect the G165 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.*
      1. *: w/ Manual (SOS) Switch

      Procedure1

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L52-13 (FR+) - G165-1 (SPI+)*1 Always Below 1 Ω
      L52-28 (FR-) - G165-2 (SPI-)*1 Always Below 1 Ω
      G165-3 (SPO+) - G69-2 (+)*1 Always Below 1 Ω
      G165-4 (SPO-) - G69-1 (-)*1 Always Below 1 Ω
      L52-13 (FR+) - G69-2 (+)*2 Always Below 1 Ω
      L52-28 (FR-) - G69-1 (-)*2 Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Remove the telephone transceiver assembly.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (DCM [Telematics Transceiver])

      HINT: 

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 (SPO+) - 1 (SPI+) Always Below 1 Ω
      4 (SPO-) - 2 (SPI-) Always Below 1 Ω
      1 (SPI+) - 2 (SPI-) Always 10 kΩ or higher
      3 (SPO+) - 4 (SPO-) Always 10 kΩ or higher
