DTC B15C3-71: Speaker Output Short Actuator Stuck [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK VEHICLE TYPE 
    1. Check the vehicle type.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPEAKER CIRCUIT) 
    1. *1: for RH Side

      *2: for LH Side

      *3: w/ Manual (SOS) Switch

    1. Disconnect the L52 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the H1*1 and/or H19*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.
    3. Disconnect the G69*1 and/or G70*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.
    4. Disconnect the G50 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.
    5. Disconnect the K11*1 and/or K25*2 rear speaker assembly connector.
    6. Disconnect the K10*1 and/or K24*2 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connector.
    7. Disconnect the L15 rear No. 3 speaker assembly connector.
    8. Disconnect the G165 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.*3
    9. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Remove the DCM (telematics transceiver).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  9. REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or known good one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      No DTCs are output.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

  11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPEAKER CIRCUIT) 
    1. *1: for RH Side

      *2: for LH Side

      *3: w/ Manual (SOS) Switch

    1. Disconnect the L52 and L54 stereo component amplifier assembly connectors.
    2. Disconnect the H1*1 and/or H19*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.
    3. Disconnect the G69*1 and/or G70*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.
    4. Disconnect the G50 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.
    5. Disconnect the N20*1 and/or N21*2 roof speaker assembly (front) connector.
    6. Disconnect the K11*1 and/or K25*2 rear speaker assembly connector.
    7. Disconnect the K9*1 and/or K23*2 rear No. 2 speaker assembly (rear door) connector.
    8. Disconnect the N22*1 and/or N23*2 roof speaker assembly (rear) connector.
    9. Disconnect the L13*1 and/or L14*2 rear No. 2 speaker assembly (rear tray) connector.
    10. Disconnect the L15 rear No. 3 speaker assembly connector.
    11. Disconnect the G165 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.*3
    12. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
