DTC B1574: GVIF Disconnected (from Park Assist/Monitoring ECU to EMV/MM Integrated Device) [12/2017 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Turn the engine switch off.
3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

1. Disconnect the G148 multi-display connector.

   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to Parking Assist ECU)

2. Disconnect the G142 radio receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   G142-2 (GVO-) - G148-2 (GVI-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   G142-2 (GVO-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the multi-display with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Turn the engine switch off.
4. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result
