DTC C1AE8-96: Ultrasonic Sensor (Rear Right Center) Component Internal Failure [10/2020 - ]: Description

The rear center ultrasonic sensor (RRC sensor) is installed on the rear bumper. The clearance warning ECU assembly detects obstacles based on signals it receives from the rear center ultrasonic sensor (RRC sensor). If an open circuit or other malfunction occurs in the rear center ultrasonic sensor (RRC sensor), the rear center ultrasonic sensor (RRC sensor) does not operate correctly.
