DTC C1AE7-96: Ultrasonic Sensor (Rear Left Center) Component Internal Failure [10/2020 - ]: Description

The rear center ultrasonic sensor (RLC sensor) is installed on the rear bumper. The clearance warning ECU assembly detects obstacles based on signals it receives from the rear center ultrasonic sensor (RLC sensor). If an open circuit or other malfunction occurs in the rear center ultrasonic sensor (RLC sensor), the rear center ultrasonic sensor (RLC sensor) does not operate correctly.
