The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during rear door lock with motor assembly removal/installation are shown below.

HINT:

When the cable is disconnected/reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

Power trunk lid system	Fully close the luggage compartment door by hand. HINT: Initialization is not necessary if the above procedures are performed while the luggage compartment door is closed.	Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2020 - 10/2023]

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The following procedure is for the LH side.
When removing the rear door glass sub-assembly LH, move the rear door glass sub-assembly LH to the lowest position before disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal.
