Installation [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

Hold Here

While holding the positions shown in the illustration, attach the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly hook near the front of the vehicle to the airbag door wall near the front of the vehicle.

Slowly lower the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly to attach the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly hook near the rear of the vehicle to the airbag door wall near the rear of the vehicle.

Install the 2 screws.

INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

Attach the wire harness clamp.

*a	Lock Button
	Push

Connect the airbag connector and push the lock button to lock.
NOTE:
- When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
- Be sure to connect the connectors to each corresponding color.
- Make sure the lock button is securely locked.
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

INSTALL NO. 5 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - 10/2020]
INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2023]
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
Refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2017 - 11/2021]
