DTC C1380-7F: Stop Lamp Relay Actuator Stuck Off [09/2018 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (POWER INTEGRATION SYSTEM) 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2023]

      Body Electrical > Power Integration No. 3 > Trouble Codes 

      HINT: 

      If there is a malfunction in the No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU, integration relay system DTCs may also have been detected. Check the integration relay system first.

    1. Using the Techstream, check the Data List "Stop Light Input Signal", "Stop Light Output Signal", "Stop Light SW" and "Stop Light Relay" with the brake pedal operated.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the A9 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
    2. Disconnect the L111 No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  16. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (STOP LIGHT RELAY) 
    1. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Active Test.
    2. Perform "Active Test" according to the display on the Techstream.

      HINT: 
      To protect this Actuator and Solenoid, this test will only last 10 seconds.      		 Check that the No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU (STPO terminal output) turns ON when the brake pedal is released, the stop lights blink, and the "stop light relay" and "STPO" Data List items switch to ON.
