DTC C1232: Acceleration Sensor Stuck Malfunction; DTC C1243: Acceleration Sensor Stuck Malfunction; DTC C1245: Acceleration Sensor Output Malfunction [12/2017 - 09/2018]: Description
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) via CAN communication.
HINT:
If there is a malfunction in the bus lines between the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are output. When DTCs U0124 are output together with C1232, C1243 and/or C1245, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U0124 first.
DTCs may be stored if either of the following occurs:
- Acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) installation abnormality.
- Acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) signal malfunction.
