Removal [01/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NO. 2 OPENING TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  5. REMOVE RADIO REMOTE TUNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [01/2017 - 05/2023]

  6. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  7. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  8. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 GLOVE COMPARTMENT PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  10. REMOVE BOX PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Hold the area shown in the illustration and while pulling towards the exterior of the vehicle detach the clip.

    3. Hold the area shown in the illustration and while pulling towards the exterior of the vehicle detach the clip.

    4. Hold the area shown in the illustration, detach the claw and remove the box panel sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Move the front seat (RH side) to the rearmost position and remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. Fold the front seatback (RH side) forward, hold the area shown in the illustration and while pulling towards the exterior of the vehicle detach the clip and claw.

      Remove in this Direction
    4. Hold the area shown in the illustration while pulling it towards, the rear of the vehicle, detach the clip and claw and then pull out the guide from the instrument panel.

    5. Return the front seatback (RH side) to the original position, hold the area shown in the illustration and while pulling towards the exterior of the vehicle detach the claw.

    6. Hold the area shown in the illustration and while pulling towards the exterior of the vehicle detach the claw.

    7. Pull diagonally to the upper rear of the vehicle as indicated by the arrows shown in the illustration to remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      A portion of the claw is inserted into mating hole. Therefore, hold the area shown in the illustration and remove it while lifting the claw towards the outside of the vehicle.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  15. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull the integration control and panel assembly towards the rear of the vehicle to detach the claw and clip and remove it.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the clamp and Disconnect the 3 connectors.
