Odo/Trip Switch Malfunction [01/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [06/2019 - ]

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [01/2017 - ]

1. Remove the trip switch.

   Refer to REMOVAL [01/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

2. Inspect the trip switch.

   Refer to INSPECTION [01/2017 - ]

REPLACE TRIP SWITCH. Refer to  REMOVAL [01/2017 - 05/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

1. Disconnect the P25 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the P3 trip switch connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P25-4 (ODO) - P3-4 (A/B)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P25-26 (SW3) - P3-7 (E)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P25-4 (ODO) or P3-4 (A/B) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   P25-26 (SW3) or P3-7 (E) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
