DTC B1321-87: Lost Communication with EMV Missing Message [01/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

1. Check if navigation system DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [04/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2022 - 05/2023]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

   Navigation system DTCs are not output.	A
   Navigation system DTCs are output.	B

GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [01/2017 - 05/2023]

1. Disconnect the meter mirror sub-assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P80-4 (ES) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P80-2 (B) - Body ground	Power switch off	11 to 14 V

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the meter mirror sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   P80-14 (TX+) - P80-15 (TX-)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	54 Ω to 69 Ω
