Installation [03/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH

      Insert the rear suspension arm attachment sub-assembly from the back of the vehicle. Then temporarily tighten the rear No. 2 suspension toe adjust plate and rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH with the nut.

      Insert the bolt from the front of the vehicle. Then temporarily tighten the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH with the nut.

  2. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Temporarily tighten the rear stabilizer link assembly LH to the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH with the bolt and nut.

  3. CONNECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH to the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf)

  4. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN LOWER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH

      Insert the bolt from the back of the vehicle. Then temporarily tighten the lower control arm assembly LH with the nut.

    2. Temporarily tighten the lower control arm assembly LH with a new nut.

  5. STABILIZE SUSPENSION 

    See step  7 [03/2017 - 04/2020], or see step  7 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  6. FULLY TIGHTEN LOWER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Fully tighten the lower control arm assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque: 126 N.m (1285 kgf/cm, 93 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

    2. Fully tighten the nut.

      Torque: 118 N.m (1203 kgf/cm, 87 ft.lbf)

  7. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Fully tighten the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH with the nut.

      Torque: 213 N.m (2172 kgf/cm, 157 ft.lbf)

    2. Fully tighten the nut.

      Torque: 165 N.m (1683 kgf/cm, 122 ft.lbf)

  8. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Fully tighten the nut.

      Torque: 24 N.m (245 kgf/cm, 18 ft.lbf)

  9. INSTALL NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [03/2017 - 05/2023]

  11. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  12. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [03/2017 - ]

  13. ADJUST REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY OPTICAL AXIS 

    Refer to CALIBRATION [03/2017 - 05/2023]

  14. PERFORM DYNAMIC REAR STEERING SYSTEM CALIBRATION (w/ Dynamic Rear Steering) 

    Refer to CALIBRATION [03/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to CALIBRATION [09/2018 - ]
