DTC B167A/5A: Front Door Pressure Sensor LH; DTC B167E/5A: Front Door Pressure Sensor Threshold Malfunction (LH) [03/2017 - 04/2020]: Description
The side collision sensor LH circuit consists of the airbag ECU assembly, door side airbag sensor LH, side airbag sensor assembly LH and rear airbag sensor LH.
The door side airbag sensor LH, side airbag sensor assembly LH and rear airbag sensor LH detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the airbag ECU assembly to determine if the airbags and pretensioners should be deployed.
These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the door side airbag sensor LH.
