DTC C13A7/43: Actuator Malfunction [03/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure

1. Check if DTCs other than C13A7/43 are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2017 - 09/2018]

   Chassis > Electric Parking Brake > Trouble Codes

1. Check that the parking brake cable is not cracked or stuck, and that it is correctly installed.

   Refer to DISASSEMBLY [03/2017 - ]

   OK

   The part has no cracks, is not stuck and is correctly installed.

REPLACE PARKING BRAKE WITH BRACKET ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY OR SECURELY INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CABLE 

1. Replace Parking Brake with Bracket Actuator Assembly:

   Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]

2. Install Parking Brake Cable:

   Refer to REASSEMBLY [03/2017 - ]

Result: 

OK

1. Check if each part is installed properly.

   Refer to DISASSEMBLY [03/2017 - ]

   OK

   The part is installed correctly

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Disconnect the X67 parking brake ECU assembly connector.
3. Disconnect the X68 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   X67-8 (TSEN) or X68-5 (TSEN) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
