DTC C1210/36: Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone; DTC C1336/98: Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone [03/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE SENSOR
    1. Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor.

      Refer to CALIBRATION [03/2017 - 05/2023]

      NOTE:

Make sure to perform initialization and calibration of the linear solenoid valve after performing "Reset Memory" as the data stored during linear solenoid valve offset learning is cleared.

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Utility

      Tester Display
      Reset Memory

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Utility

      Tester Display
      Test Mode

      HINT:

      • When the stored zero point of the yaw rate sensor is cleared, steering sensor zero point will also be cleared.
      • If the zero point and output value of the yaw rate sensor and the output value of the speed sensors are not normal, steering sensor zero point cannot be acquired normally even if the vehicle is driven straight ahead at 35 km/h (22 mph) or more.

  2. PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK)
    1. Using the Techstream, perform a Test Mode (Signal Check) inspection sensor check and check that all Test Mode (Signal Check) inspection items change from incomplete to complete.

Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [03/2017 - 05/2023]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Utility

      Tester Display
      Signal Check

      OK

  3. CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR INSTALLATION
    1. Turn the engine switch off.
    2. Check that the yaw rate sensor has been installed properly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [03/2017 - 04/2020]

      OK

The yaw rate sensor is tightened to the specified torque.

The yaw rate sensor is not tilted.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK

INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR CORRECTLY. Refer to  INSTALLATION [03/2017 - 04/2020]

    Result:

    OK

    See step  4

  4. CHECK DTC
    1. Check the output DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2017 - 09/2018]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes

      Result
