1. Remove the union bolt and gasket, and disconnect the rear flexible hose from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH.

1. Remove the 2 bolts and rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH.

1. Remove the parking brake shoe adjusting hole plug from the rear disc LH.

1. Put matchmarks on the rear disc LH and the rear axle hub and bearing assembly LH.

   HINT: 

   Not required when replacing the rear disc LH.

2. Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the bolt.
3. Release the parking brake and remove the rear disc LH.

   HINT: 

   If the rear disc LH cannot be removed easily, use a screwdriver to turn the shoe adjuster as shown in the illustration in order to contract the parking brake shoes.
