Disassembly [03/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacing console compartment door lock sub-assembly.

    1. Peel off and remove the 2 No. 1 rear seat console table plugs.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and console compartment door lock sub-assembly.

      *1 Console Box Cushion
      NOTE:

      When removing the console compartment door lock sub-assembly, make sure that the console box cushion does not drop from the console box assembly.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and instrument panel cup holder.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Peel off and remove the 2 No. 1 rear seat console table plugs.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration, detach the claw and remove the rear upper console panel.

      Place Hand Here
      Remove in this Direction
    4. Place your finger at the position shown in the illustration and detach the clip in the order shown in the illustration.

    5. Detach the clip and remove the No. 2 console box hole cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    6. Remove the 2 screws.

    7. Release the slide lock, and then while pushing the slide knob, move the No. 1 console compartment door lock sub-assembly in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 2 screws.

    9. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the spring.

    10. While pushing the slide knob, remove the No. 1 console compartment door lock sub-assembly in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.
