Removal [01/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [01/2021 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [05/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [01/2021 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [05/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear spoiler sub-assembly.
  4. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SEAL 

    HINT: 

    When removing the rear spoiler seal, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the rear spoiler seal and rear spoiler using a heat light.

    Part Temperature
    Rear Spoiler 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Rear Spoiler Seal
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the rear spoiler seal and rear spoiler excessively.

    1. Remove the rear spoiler seal.
