Inspection [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH (for Standard Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Slide and Front Vertical Switch
      *b Slide and Lifter Switch
      *c Reclining Switch
      *d Headrest Switch
      *e Lumbar Support Switch
      *f Component without harness connected
      (Front Power Seat Switch LH)

      Standard Resistance

      Slide Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      7 (SLDF) - 20 (E) Front Below 50 Ω
      6 (SLDR) - 20 (E) Rear

      Front Vertical Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (FUP) - 20 (E) Up Below 50 Ω
      5 (FDWN) - 20 (E) Down

      Lifter Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (LUP) - 20 (E) Up Below 50 Ω
      8 (LDWN) - 20 (E) Down

      Reclining Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (RCLF) - 20 (E) Front Below 50 Ω
      1 (RCLR) - 20 (E) Rear

      Headrest Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      15 (HUP) - 20 (E) Up Below 50 Ω
      16 (HDWN) - 20 (E) Down

      Lumbar Support Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      14 (H) - 20 (E) Hold Below 1 Ω
      17 (R) - 20 (E) Release

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front power seat switch LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH (for Sports Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Slide and Front Vertical Switch
      *b Slide and Lifter Switch
      *c Reclining Switch
      *d Lumbar Support Switch
      *e Component without harness connected
      (Front Power Seat Switch LH)

      Standard Resistance

      Slide Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      7 (SLDF) - 20 (E) Front Below 50 Ω
      6 (SLDR) - 20 (E) Rear

      Front Vertical Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (FUP) - 20 (E) Up Below 50 Ω
      5 (FDWN) - 20 (E) Down

      Lifter Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (LUP) - 20 (E) Up Below 50 Ω
      8 (LDWN) - 20 (E) Down

      Reclining Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (RCLF) - 20 (E) Front Below 50 Ω
      1 (RCLR) - 20 (E) Rear

      Lumbar Support Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      14 (H) - 20 (E) Hold Below 1 Ω
      17 (R) - 20 (E) Release

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front power seat switch LH.

  3. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (for Standard Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *c Reclining Switch
      *d Headrest Switch
      *e Lumbar Support Switch

      Lifter Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      8 (LUP) - 11 (E) Up Below 50 Ω
      3 (LDWN) - 11 (E) Down

      Reclining Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      9 (RCLF) - 11 (E) Front Below 50 Ω
      10 (RCLR) - 11 (E) Rear

      Headrest Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      16 (HUP) - 11 (E) Up Below 50 Ω
      15 (HDWN) - 11 (E) Down

      Lumbar Support Switch 

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      17 (H) - 11 (E) Hold Below 1 Ω
      14 (R) - 11 (E) Release

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front power seat switch RH.

  4. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (for Sports Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
