Inspection [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT LH SEAT FRONT OUTER SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR (LIMIT SWITCH) (for Outer Side) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Limit Switch Assembly)
      Press

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Limit switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      Limit switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the limit switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT LH SEAT FRONT INNER SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR (LIMIT SWITCH) (for Inner Side) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Limit Switch Assembly)
      Press

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Limit switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      Limit switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the limit switch assembly.
