Inspection [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for Standard Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Connector A
      *b Connector B
      *c Component without harness connected
      (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly LH)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - A-2 Always (20°C) 1.44 to 2.16 Ω
      A-1 - A-6
      A-1 - B-2
      A-4 - A-5 6.48 to 9.72 kΩ
      A-2 - B-2 Below 1 Ω
      A-6 - B-2
      A-3 - B-1
      A-2 - A-6

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER LH (for Sports Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Connector A
      *b Connector B
      *c Component without harness connected
      (Front Seat Cushion pad with cover LH)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - A-2 Always (23°C) 1.44 to 2.16 Ω
      A-1 - A-6
      A-1 - B-2
      A-4 - A-5 6.48 to 9.72 kΩ
      A-2 - B-2 Below 1 Ω
      A-6 - B-2
      A-3 - B-1
      A-2 - A-6

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion pad with cover LH.

  3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (for Standard Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Connector A
      *b Connector B
      *c Component without harness connected
      (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly RH)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - A-2 Always (20°C) 1.44 to 2.16 Ω
      A-1 - A-6
      A-1 - B-2
      A-4 - A-5 6.48 to 9.72 kΩ
      A-2 - B-2 Below 1 Ω
      A-6 - B-2
      A-3 - B-1
      A-2 - A-6

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.

  4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER RH (for Sports Seat Type) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Connector A
      *b Connector B
      *c Component without harness connected
      (Front Seat Cushion pad with cover RH)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      A-1 - B-2

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion pad with cover RH.
