Removal [05/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [05/2023 - ]

    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [05/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PRECAUTION [05/2023 - ]

    WARNING:

    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
  4. REMOVE CONSOLE PLATE 
    1. Using a moulding remover A, detech the claw and guide and remove the console plate as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
  5. REMOVE RADIO REMOTE TUNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Hold the area shown in the illustration using both hands and detach the claw.

      Place Hands Here
      Remove in this Direction
    3. Hold the area shown in the illustration using both hands and detach the claw in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

    4. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the radio remote tuning switch assembly.

  6. REMOVE PATTERN SELECT SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  7. REMOVE REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  8. REMOVE SWITCH AND VOLUME SET 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the radio setting parts set.
  9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX POCKET 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. While pressing the area shown in the figure with your finger, detach the claw and guide and remove the rear console box pocketl.

  10. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  11. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Pull out the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
    3. Detach the clamp as indicated by the arrows in the shown in the illustration.
    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
  12. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the clip and guide and remove the lower instrument cover.
  13. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.
