Exterior Illumination Circuit [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [04/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [05/2023 - ]

1. Remove the door outside handle sub-assembly RH.

   Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

2. Inspect the door outside handle sub-assembly RH.

REPLACE DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

1. Disconnect the P9 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Disconnect the W3 door outside handle sub-assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P9-2 (MILE) - W3-2 (OLP)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P9-2 (MILE) or W3-2 (OLP) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Disconnect the V3 door outside handle sub-assembly RH connector.
2. Disconnect the W3 door outside handle sub-assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   V3-2 (OLP) - W3-1 (GND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   V3-1 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result
