Luggage Compartment Door Opener does not Operate Using Cabin Switch [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [03/2017 - ] 

   Body Electrical > Main Body > Data List

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

1. Remove the No. 3 combination switch assembly (luggage door opening switch).

   Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - ]

2. Inspect the No. 3 combination switch assembly (luggage door opening switch).

   Refer to INSPECTION [03/2017 - ]

   Result

REPLACE NO. 3 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH). Refer to  REMOVAL [03/2017 - ]

1. Disconnect the P63 No. 3 combination switch assembly (luggage door opening switch) connector.
2. Disconnect the P9 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P63-3 (B) - P9-4 (TSW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P63-13 (L) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P63-3 (B) or P9-4 (TSW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   NG

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]
