Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Install the transmission floor shift assembly to the body with the 4 bolts.

   Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf/cm, 73 in.lbf) 

   HINT: 

   Tighten the bolts in the tightening order shown in the illustration.

2. Connect the transmission floor shift assembly connector.

1. Install the upper No. 1 console support bracket to the body with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)

2. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the upper No. 1 console support bracket.

HINT: 

There is no need to remove this unless the shift position indicator is replaced.

1. Install the shift position indicator to the shifting hole cover with the 4 screws.

Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [05/2023 - ]

1. Apply the parking brake and use wheel chocks to secure the vehicle.
2. Depress and hold the brake pedal.
3. Start the engine.
4. Move the shift lever and check that the shift position indicator display matches the indicator display in the combination meter.

4. Operate the parking switch and check that the illumination condition of the parking switch indicator light matches the indicator display in the combination meter.
