Removal [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL LH 
    1. Remove the 4 clips and 4 plate washers.

    2. Loosen the grommet and remove the front fender seal LH.
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL RH

      Grommet

      Remove the 4 clips and 4 plate washers.

    2. Loosen the grommet and remove the front fender seal RH.
  3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 6 clips.

    2. Loosen the 3 grommets and nut and remove the front floor cover LH.
  4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH

      Remove the 4 bolts and 6 clips.

    2. Loosen the 3 grommets and nut and remove the front floor cover RH.
  5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH 
    1. Remove the screw, nut, 3 clips, plate washer and rear floor side member cover LH.

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH

      Remove the screw, nut, 3 clips, plate washer and rear floor side member cover RH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  8. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  10. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  11. REMOVE BODY SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and engine rear mounting member plate.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and open the service hole cover of the rocker panel moulding assembly LH.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and body support bracket sub-assembly LH.

  12. REMOVE BODY SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and engine rear mounting member plate.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and open the service hole cover of the rocker panel moulding assembly RH.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and body support bracket sub-assembly RH.

    1. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and front No. 1 floor cross brace LH.

  14. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR CROSS BRACE RH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and front No. 1 floor cross brace RH.

  15. REMOVE FRONT CENTER FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 12 bolts and front center floor brace sub-assembly.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and No. 2 differential support protector.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and No. 1 differential support protector.

  18. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.

    2. Loosen the grommets and remove the rear No. 4 bumper side support LH.
  19. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.

    2. Loosen the grommets and remove the rear No. 4 bumper side support RH.
  20. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 nuts to disconnect the front exhasut pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH and exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts, 4 nuts and front exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust tailpipe assembly.

    3. Remove the 4 gaskets.
  21. REMOVE EXHAUST TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

    1. Detach the clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 6 exhaust pipe supports and exhaust tailpipe assembly.

  22. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE GAS CONTROL ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 6 bolts and 4 nuts.

      *A for RH Side
      *B for LH Side
    2. Remove the 2 exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assemblies from the exhaust tailpipe assembly.
