Operating Light Control Rheostat does not Change Light Brightness [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [07/2020 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2020 - ]

1. Temporarily replace the trip switch with a new or normally functioning one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - ]

   Result

REPLACE TRIP SWITCH. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2020 - ]

OK

1. Disconnect the P25 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the P3 trip switch connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P25-25 (TR) - P3-5 (RV)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P25-26 (SW3) - P3-7 (E)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P25-25 (TR) or P3-5 (RV) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   P25-26 (SW3) or P3-7 (E) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG
