Reassembly [09/2020 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL ROCKER PANEL LOWER MOULDING
- INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE MUDGUARD PROTECTOR
HINT:
When installing the No. 2 side mudguard protector, heat the rocker panel moulding assembly using a heat light.
HEATING TEMPERATUREItem Temperature Rocker Panel Moulding Assembly 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) WARNING:- Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.
- Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
*a Heated Part *b Heat Light NOTE:Do not heat the rocker panel moulding assembly excessively.
- Clean the rocker panel moulding assembly.
- Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the rocker panel moulding assembly.
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
- Using a brush or felt, apply primer or equivalent to the No. 2 side mudguard protector installation area.NOTE:
- Use a clean brush or felt.
- Do not touch the rocker panel moulding assembly until the primer has dried.
- Remove the release paper from a new No. 2 side mudguard protector.
HINT:
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
- Install the No. 2 side mudguard protector as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Press the No. 2 side mudguard protector firmly to install it.
- INSTALL NO. 1 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR
HINT:
When installing the No. 1 rocker panel moulding protector, heat the rocker panel moulding assembly using a heat light.

- INSTALL NO. 3 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR
HINT:
When installing the No. 3 rocker panel moulding protector, heat the rocker panel moulding assembly using a heat light.

When installing the No. 2 rocker panel moulding protector, heat the rocker panel moulding assembly using a heat light.
