See step 2
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EXHAUST SOLENOID VALVE - SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect the S9 exhaust solenoid valve connector.
- Disconnect the R22 suspension control ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition S9-2 (L) - R22-9 (SLEX) Always Below 1 Ω S9-2 (L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher S9-1 (B) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
Result:
NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
Result:
OK
See step 3
- INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR (EXHAUST SOLENOID VALVE)
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Remove the height control compressor (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 2 (L) - 1 (B) 20°C (68°F) 10 to 14 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Component without harness connected
(Exhaust Valve) - Connect the positive (+) lead of the battery to terminal 2 (L) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (B) of the solenoid valve connector. Then check that the valve makes an operating sound.
OK
Operation of solenoid (clicking sound) can be heard.
Result:
OK
REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU
(Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )
Result:
