    *b Min. Low
    *c Normal *d Max. High
    45° 45°
    1. Check the rear height control sensor RH (when DTC C1713/13 is output).
      1. Remove the rear height control sensor RH (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
      2. Connect 3 dry cell batteries of 1.5 V in series.
      3. Connect the positive (+) end of the batteries to terminal 1 (SHB) of the height control sensor and the negative (-) end of the batteries to terminal 3 (SHG). While slowly moving the sensor link up and down, measure the voltage between terminal 2 (SHRR) and terminal 3 (SHG).
      4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 (SHG) - 2 (SHRR) Max. High (45°) 3.60 to 4.52 V
        Normal (0°) 2.06 to 2.45 V
        Min. Low (-45°) 0.40 to 0.51 V
        NOTE:

Do not apply a voltage of 5 V or higher.

    2. Check the rear height control sensor LH (when DTC C1714/14 is output).
      1. Remove the rear height control sensor LH (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
      2. Connect 3 dry cell batteries of 1.5 V in series.
      3. Connect the positive (+) end of the batteries to terminal 1 (SHB) of the height control sensor and the negative (-) end of the batteries to terminal 3 (SHG). While slowly moving the sensor link up and down, measure the voltage between terminal 2 (SHRL) and terminal 3 (SHG).
      4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 (SHG) - 2 (SHRL) Max. High (45°) 3.60 to 4.52 V
        Normal (0°) 2.06 to 2.45 V
        Min. Low (-45°) 0.40 to 0.51 V
        NOTE:

Do not apply a voltage of 5 V or higher.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR - SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU)
    1. Check the rear height control sensor RH (when DTC C1713/13 is output).
      1. Disconnect the S2 rear height control sensor RH connector.
      2. Disconnect the R22 suspension control ECU connector.
      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        S2-3 (SHG) - R22-16 (SGR2) Always Below 1 Ω
        S2-2 (SHRR) - R22-26 (SHRR) Always Below 1 Ω
        S2-1 (SHB) - R22-13 (SBR2) Always Below 1 Ω
S2-3 (SHG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
S2-2 (SHRR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
S2-1 (SHB) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    2. Check the rear height control sensor LH (when DTC C1714/14 is output).
      1. Disconnect the S5 rear height control sensor LH connector.
      2. Disconnect the R22 suspension control ECU connector.
      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
