Removal [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure
- REMOVE OUTER MIRROR
- Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape Move in this Direction - Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws on the lower part of the outer mirror as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not push the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.
- Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
- w/o Blind Spot Monitor System:
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer mirror as shown in the illustration.
Move in this Direction NOTE:Do not push the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Disengage the claw.
- Disconnect the connector to remove the outer mirror.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer mirror as shown in the illustration.
- w/ Blind Spot Monitor System:
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer mirror as shown in the illustration.
Move in this Direction NOTE:Do not push the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
Disengage the clamp.
- Disengage the claw.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Disengage the claw.
- Disconnect the connector to remove the outer mirror.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer mirror as shown in the illustration.
- Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.
