Rear Sunshade Shift-linked Function does not Operate when Shift Lever is Moved to R Position [08/2020 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (SHIFT SW STATUS (R RANGE))
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Powertrain > Engine > Data List
Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Shift SW Status (R Range) Park/neutral position switch status ON or OFF ON: Shift lever in R
OFF: Shift lever not in R- Powertrain > Engine > Data List
Tester Display Shift SW Status (R Range) OK
The Techstream display changes according to the shift position selected by using the shift lever.

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (REVERSE GEAR SIGNAL)
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
HINT:
Make sure that the rear window shade assembly is raised before performing the Active Test.

- Disconnect the N63 rear sunshade relay connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the G36 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
