DTC B15C5: Manual Button Malfunction [06/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Recheck for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes

1. Disconnect the P12 map light sub-assembly connector.

   *a	Component without harness connected (Map Light Sub-assembly)

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   13 (SIG1) - 9 (GND3)	Manual (SOS) switch not pressed	410 to 414 Ω
   13 (SIG1) - 9 (GND3)	Manual (SOS) switch pressed	81 to 83 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE MAP LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]

OK

1. Disconnect the G10 DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.
2. Disconnect the P12 map light sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G10-26 (SIG-) - P12-9 (GND3)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G10-26 (SIG-) or P12-9 (GND3) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G10-27 (SIG1) - P12-13 (SIG1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G10-27 (SIG1) or P12-13 (SIG1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 10/2019]

   NOTE:

   • The engine switch must be off.
   • Do not swap the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
