Stereo Jack Adapter Light does not Illuminate [06/2018 - 09/2022]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the G103 and G8 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connectors.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G103-1 (UPI) - Body ground	Engine switch on (ACC)	5 V
   G8-8 (ACC) - Body ground	Engine switch on (ACC)	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 09/2022] 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the G112 radio receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G103 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition

   G103-1 (UPI) or G112-1 (USV1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the G6 radio receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G8 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G8-8 (ACC) - G6-16 (ACC)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G8-8 (ACC) or G6-16 (ACC) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 09/2022]
