DTC B1575: GVIF Disconnected (from EMV/MM Integrated Device to Multi Display) [08/2021 - 09/2022]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Turn the engine switch off.
3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ]

1. Disconnect the G113 multi-display assembly connector.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Radio Receiver Assembly)
   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to Multi-display Assembly)

2. Disconnect the G111 radio receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G111-2 (GV1+) - G113-1 (GV+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G111-1 (GV1-) - G113-2 (GV-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G111-3 (GVG1) - G113-3 (GVG1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G111-2 (GV1+) or G113-1 (GV+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G111-1 (GV1-) or G113-2 (GV-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G111-3 (GVG1) or G113-3 (GVG1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the multi-display assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - ]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Turn the engine switch off.
4. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

END (MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE) 

Result: 

NG
