DTC C1AE4: Front Right Sensor Malfunction [06/2018 - 09/2022]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Only DTC C1AE4 is output	A
   DTC C1AE4 and C1AEC are output	B
   No DTCs are output	C

Result: 

B 

GO TO DTC (C1AEC). Refer to  DTC C1AEC: Front Sensor Communication Malfunction [06/2018 - 09/2022]

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ]

1. Replace the front corner ultrasonic sensor RH with new or a known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022]

   HINT: 

   All of the sensors are interchangeable. To confirm whether a sensor is functioning normally, switch it with a known good sensor from the other end of the vehicle.
